Wrongful Job Termination

With economic circumstances as they are, job layoffs are common. Employers need to save money, and at times do so wrongly. There are four major causes for wrongful job termination. First, when the employer releases an employee based on discrimination of gender, age, sexual orientation, race or ethnicity. Second, when they employer is acting in retaliation to an employee's actions. The employee's actions must have been legal. Third, when an employee is released because of refusal to commit an illegal act. Fourth, when a prearranged termination is not followed by the employer.
